My area of specialization is in counseling psychology.
My research interests are primarily in Asian American psychology, including the areas of career development, stereotyping/internalized stereotyping, and body image.
Some of my research have been published in the Journal of Counseling Psychology, Journal of Vocational Behavior, Cultural & Ethnic Minority Psychology, Psychology of Men & Masculinities, and Journal of Multicultural Counseling & Development.
I am currently the faculty advisory for the UIS Research Society and the UIS chapter of Active Minds. I am also the Coordinator for the Peer Mentoring Program in the Capital Scholars Honors program.
