UIS Printing and Duplicating Services
We serve the campus community and outside partners by providing a variety of printing services, and we work hand-in-hand with our graphic design and Mail Services teams to provide comprehensive support on multistep projects.
The purchase of printing is a restricted purchase, whether through a purchase order or by P-card, as detailed in Section 7.2 of the Business and Financial Policies and Procedures manual. To ensure that UIS follows the policies set forth by the State of Illinois, Printing and Duplicating Services is responsible for all University-related printing, whether produced on campus or by commercial vendors.
Services
- Variable printing: including individuals' names or other variable data on mailings
- Color copies, duplication: forms, flyers, postcards, invitations, letters, envelopes, etc.
- Course materials
- Publications and binding: ads, books, brochures, event programs, magazines, newsletters, etc.
- Stationary: business cards, envelopes, letterhead, notepads, etc.
- Large format printing: signs and posters
- Vinyl banners with grommets
- Pop-up banners and table top displays
- Specialty branded items: tote bags, lanyards, pens, table cloths, T-shirts, water bottles, etc.
- University calendars
Convenience copiers
Printing and Duplicating Services manages the UIS fleet of convenience copiers located in departments throughout campus. Copies made on these machines are charged to each department monthly and are tracked through user codes. Please reach out to us with questions about your machine, billing or about getting a user code.
Duplication of course materials
We offers full-service course packet preparation, duplicating, binding and delivery to the UIS Bookstore for sale to students with the appropriate copyright approvals. Please complete our copyright permission request form and submit it with your job request. Please allow 8-10 weeks for copyright clearance. Academic departments/programs must pay for unsold bookstore copies.
