Ashley joined UIS in 2022 in the Division of Advancement. As the Assistant Director of Strategic Development Communications, she was responsible for developing and implementing marketing and communication tactics that enhanced fundraising and alumni relations efforts. In December 2024, Ashley transitioned to the role of Assistant Director of Media Strategy, where she continues to leverage her experience to further the university's communication goals.

Ashley earned a bachelor's degree in agricultural communications from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Prior to coming to UIS, she developed marketing and fundraising strategies for multiple organizations, including Central Illinois Foodbank and The Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce.
