Gary W. Reinbold is an Associate Professor of public policy. He conducts research on U.S. social policy and teaches courses in statistics, program evaluation, U.S. social policy, and international poverty and development. He has published many articles in peer-reviewed academic journals and comments on social policy issues frequently for television, radio, newspaper, and online sources. He is also the Director of the Center for Moderate Social Policy (centerformoderatesocialpolicy.org), which provides moderate policy analysis of social policy proposals and events. Prior to his current position, he practiced law at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and the international law firm of Mayer Brown. He has a Ph.D. in Public Policy from Harvard University, a J.D. from the University of Michigan, a M.A. in Early Childhood Education from Concordia University Chicago, and a B.S. in Mathematics from Michigan Technological University.
