Dr. Jamarco R. Clark joined UIS as the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs on June 12, 2023. In his role as Vice Chancellor, Dr. Clark leads the Student Affairs division, which includes Athletics, Campus Recreation, the Career Development Center, the Counseling Center, Disability Services, the Diversity Center, Food Services, Gender and Sexuality Student Services, Greek Life, Health Services, Military and Veteran Student Services, International Student Services, Residence Life, Student Life, the Student Union, the Volunteer and Civic Engagement Center and the Women’s Center.

Prior to becoming the Vice Chancellor for Students Affairs at UIS, Dr. Clark served as the Assistant Dean of Students and Director of Leadership & Engagement at The University of Iowa. Dr. Clark has also served at Coe College, Truman State University, Mount Mercy University, and Indian Hills Community College.

Dr. Clark holds a Doctor of Education in Student Affairs Administration from the University of Wisconsin La Crosse, a Master of Strategic Leadership from Mount Mercy University, and a Bachelor of Science in Educational Foundations from Iowa Wesleyan College.
