Martin Medrano enjoys an exciting career as a concert violinist, chamber musician, composer, and teacher. 

During his early artistic development, Mr. Medrano joined the first violin section of the UMAN's Eduardo Mata Orchestra based on the emblematic Sala Nezahualcoyotl in Mexico City, and held that position for seven years. Martin graduated with Honorable Mention from this Bachelor's degree, performing the Sibelius Violin Concerto under the guidance of Professor Natalia Gvosdetskaya, a former student of Yuri Yankelevich in Moscow Conservatory. Mr. Medrano has participated actively in numerous masterclasses with remarkable violinists such as Scott Yoo, Erika Dobosiewicz, Igor Petrushevsky, the Grammy-Awarded Attacca Quartet, and Albert Markov. 

In 2022, Mr. Medrano join ed the Harvard-Radcliffe Orchestra on their tour around Mexico and one year later finished his Master's degree in Arts Management and Cultural Policies from the Universidad Panamericana. The same year, he relocated to the United States to pursue his Master's degree in Music Performance. 

For the past two years, Mr. Medrano received the Fellowship Assistant Award by the Mostly Modern Festival, premiering four chamber operas and collaborating with his mentor, the Three-time Grammy-nominated Dave Eggar. In 2023, he was awarded Honorable Mention in the Mostly Modern Festival Concerto Competition where he performed Alban Berg's Concerto for Violin. During the Summer of 2024, Martin taught violin sectionals and music history at the Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp, was Second Chair of the first violin section of the Blue Lake Festival Orchestra, and served as first violin of the Festival String Quartet. 

Currently, Martin is the recipient of the prestigious Julstrom Quartet graduate assistantship at Western Illinois University under th e guidance of Dr. Julieta Mihai, former concertmaster of the Illinois Symphony Orchestra. According to Dr. Mihai, "Martin is a wonderful violinist with great technical facility and control over his instrument. Martin has a dynamic and fast-expanding repertoire, encompassing stylistically contrasting works."

In performances in New York City and Mexico City, Mr. Medrano has premiered chamber works by numerous composers including Vaughn Williams and Efrain Osher.
