Human Resources is excited to announce an in-person Supervisor Training session to be held from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 28 in the Student Union Ballroom.

WHAT: The University of Illinois Springfield invites the community to the 44th annual International Festival. The longest running student-led program in the history of the University, the festival features live cultural performances and samples of food from around the world. Admission is free.

WHEN: 2-5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, 2022

WHAT: The University of Illinois Springfield History Department invites members of the public to bring memories, photos, souvenirs and memorabilia from their travels both recent and long-ago to “The Great Road Trip” History Harvest. UIS students will photograph or scan the items for inclusion in an online digital archive and exhibit. Participation in the event is free.

The SHIELD COVID-19 testing site on campus will be closed Monday, Oct. 10, due to a lab closure. The site will re-open at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11.

Protect yourself and others by getting your flu shot this year! UIS Health Services and the Sangamon County Department of Public Health are offering flu shots to the UIS community from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 20, and Wednesday, Nov. 16, located on the first floor of the Public Affairs Center (PAC) in meeting rooms C and D.
