In a GLVC matchup at Kiwanis Stadium on Friday night, the UIS men's soccer team edged Southwest Baptist 1-0, marking their second consecutive Homecoming win against the Bearcats. The victory extends UIS' unbeaten conference run to an impressive 22 games (16-0-6). The win improves UIS to 3-2-1 overall and 3-0-1 in GLVC play, while the Bearcats fall to 2-3-3 overall and 1-2-1 in the conference. UIS has now defeated the Bearcats in their Homecoming match in consecutive seasons.
