The UIS men's golf team completed the first two rounds of the Midwest Regional Preview on Monday, currently sitting in 12th place out of 15 teams with a score of 600 (301, 299).

Through Two Rounds
  • The Prairie Stars are positioned just three strokes behind William Jewell, and four strokes back from McKendree
  • Leading the charge for UIS is Julien Babineau, who is tied for 18th place with a score of 145 after shooting a 75 in the first round and an impressive 70 in the second
  • Next for UIS is Francesco Abba Jr., sitting in 45th place with rounds of 73 and 77
  • Daniel Edwards is tied for 56th, posting scores of 80 and 72, while Sacha Lamraski is in 74th place with scores of 76 and 80. Jake Baldin rounds out the team, sitting in 78th with scores of 77 and 80
  • Ferris State leads the team standings with a score of 568, followed by Missouri-St. Louis at 571 and Missouri Western at 576
  • Missouri S&T's Isaac To leads the individual field with a remarkable score of -5, while UMSL's Logan Mayo and the duo of Sam Havey and Kole Putnam from Ferris State are tied for second at -3
