The UIS volleyball team notched its 10th win of the season, defeating Truman State in a five-set battle (22-25, 25-20, 25-19, 19-25, 15-9) on Thursday night at Pershing Arena in Kirksville, Mo. UIS improved to 10-4 overall and 2-1 in GLVC play, while Truman State remains winless at 0-14 overall and 0-2 in conference.

- Set 5: UIS and TSU continued their battle for dominance in the GLVC match. UIS established an early lead once again, and although TSU made an effort to close the gap, they never threatened the UIS advantage. The Prairie Stars maintained control throughout the set and ultimately clinched it 15-9 with a decisive kill from Madison Siefken
- Makenna Cox led UIS with 13 kills and added 17 digs, while Kendall Johnson chipped in 12 kills
- Eirini Glynou led the team defensively with a match-high 18 digs, paired with 11 kills
- Erica Sledge orchestrated the offense with 41 assists and contributed 17 digs of her own
