The fall postseason begins Saturday morning with the GLVC Cross Country Championships at the UIS Cross Country Course. On Sunday, men's soccer will host a non-conference game against St. Cloud State at noon, while the women's golf team travels to Owensboro, Ky., for the Kentucky Wesleyan Invitational.

4 PM CT (5 PM ET) - Women's Soccer at Indianapolis
UIS heads to Indianapolis this weekend for a matchup against the 7-6-1, 6-4-1 GLVC Greyhounds. Historically, UIS is 4-10 against UIndy, but the Prairie Stars have won their last two encounters, each by a score of 1-0. After facing tough losses to top teams in the GLVC last weekend, UIS is determined to bounce back and secure a victory against the Greyhounds on Friday night.

6 PM - Volleyball vs. Drury (HOME)
UIS Volleyball returns home to host the Drury Panthers following a successful 2-1 weekend at the Midwest Region Crossover. The Prairie Stars, boasting a record of 13-6 and 3-2 in GLVC play, sit ahead of the Panthers, who are 11-8 with a 2-4 conference record. Historically, UIS trails Drury 4-14, but the Prairie Stars have won two of the last three matchups between the teams.

Their most recent regular-season clash ended in a 1-1 draw in Indianapolis.

9:30 AM - Men's Cross Country hosts GLVC Championships (HOME)
The UIS Cross Country Course will host the GLVC Cross Country Championships for the first time ever. The men's 8k championship is set to kick off at 9:30 a.m., featuring 13 member schools with men's cross country teams. The Prairie Stars are currently ranked 7th in the Midwest Region, alongside Lewis (2nd) and Drury (9th). The reigning GLVC champions, the Lewis Flyers, are also ranked 13th nationally. UIS men's cross country finished as runner-ups at last year's championship after claiming the title in 2022.

10:30 AM - Women's Cross Country hosts GLVC Championships (HOME)
The GLVC Championship will take place on the UIS Cross Country Course on Saturday morning, with the women's 6k race scheduled to start at 10:30 a.m. UIS aims for another strong finish after placing fifth at last year's meet. While UIS has not yet received a regional ranking this season, they have the opportunity to surpass some league teams and potentially earn a spot in the next rankings, to be released on Oct. 29. Lewis (2nd) and Southwest Baptist (8th) are currently regionally ranked, and the Lewis Flyers were recently named the No. 5 team in the nation in last week's coaches' poll.

3:00 PM - Volleyball vs. Southwest Baptist (HOME)
UIS will host Southwest Baptist on Saturday afternoon, with the Bearcats coming in at 11-12 overall and 1-5 in GLVC play. The Prairie Stars are looking to avenge last season's loss to SBU, which remains their only defeat in the all-time series. Since their first meeting in 2016, UIS has maintained a strong 5-1 record against the Bearcats.
