The UIS volleyball team is gearing up for their final homestand of the season, which includes Senior Day on Saturday. Following volleyball, the men's basketball team will kick off their season at home during the Midwest Regional Crossover, while the women's basketball team begins their campaign on the road this weekend. The cross country teams will travel to Lewis for their Regional Championship. On Sunday, the UIS soccer teams advance to the postseason, competing in GLVC quarterfinal matches away from home.
Friday, Nov. 8
6 PM - Volleyball vs. McKendree (HOME)
Come support the UIS volleyball team (15-8, 5-4 GLVC) as they host McKendree (9-13, 4-5 GLVC) to kick off their final weekend at home. The Prairie Stars trail 11-16 all-time against McKendree, and look for their first victory over the Bearcats since 2021.

7 PM - Women's Basketball vs. Tiffin (at GLIAC/GLVC Crossover Tournament)
The UIS women's basketball team opens their season against Tiffin, facing early regional competition in the GLIAC/GLVC Crossover. Last season, UIS finished with a 15-14 record, while Tiffin went 4-24. In their matchup at last year's tournament, UIS claimed a 65-61 victory, adding to their 4-1 all-time series lead over Tiffin.
Saturday, Nov. 9
10 AM - Men's Cross Country at NCAA DII Midwest Regional Championship
The UIS men's cross country team is set to compete at the Regional Championship hosted by Lewis University in Romeoville, Ill., aiming for a top finish and a potential national berth. UIS recently finished 3rd at the GLVC Championship.
11:15 AM - Women's Cross Country at NCAA DII Midwest Regional Championship
Following the men's event, the UIS women's cross country team will look to build on their strong season at the regional championship. UIS recently finished 4th at the GLVC Championship, tying their program-best finish.
3 PM - Volleyball vs. Missouri-St. Louis (HOME)
The Prairie Stars (15-8, 5-4 GLVC) host No. 19-ranked UMSL (17-5, 6-3 GLVC) on Senior Day. The Prairie Stars trail 6-19 in the all-time series against the nationally-recognized Tritons. UIS looks forward to celebrating seniors Haley Allen, Eirini Glynou, and Carly Michels.

5 PM - Women's Basketball vs. Hillsdale (at GLIAC/GLVC Crossover Tournament)
In their second crossover game, the UIS women's basketball team takes on Hillsdale, a strong GLIAC opponent. Hillsdale posted a 17-12 record last season but fell to UIS early in the year, with the Prairie Stars securing an 82-58 victory. The Charges lead the Prairie Stars 4-1 all-time since their first meeting over a decade ago.
6 PM - Parkside vs. Upper Iowa (Midwest Regional Crossover)
Parkside and Upper Iowa match up at TRAC as part of the Midwest Regional Crossover Tournament.
8 PM - Men's Basketball vs. Roosevelt (HOME at Midwest Regional Crossover)
The UIS men's basketball team, receiving votes in the NABC/Division II preseason poll, kicks off their season with a first-ever matchup against the Roosevelt Lakers from the GLIAC. Last season, Roosevelt posted an impressive 25-5 record, while UIS finished 18-13, setting the stage for a competitive opener.

Sunday, Nov. 10
12 PM - #6 Women's Soccer at #3 McKendree (GLVC Quarterfinal)
UIS women's soccer begins their postseason on the road with a GLVC quarterfinal matchup at McKendree in Lebanon, IL, aiming to secure a spot in the tournament semifinals. A win would advance UIS to the next round in Creve Coeur, Mo., on Thursday, Nov. 14. In their recent regular-season meeting, McKendree won 2-0 despite a competitive showing from UIS, setting the stage for an exciting rematch.
2 PM - #7 Men's Soccer at #2 Maryville (GLVC Quarterfinal)
UIS men's soccer opens their postseason journey with a GLVC quarterfinal against Maryville, set for 2 PM in St. Louis. The teams recently battled to a 2-2 draw, and now they'll clash again with higher stakes on the line. With a win, UIS would advance to the semifinal round in Creve Coeur, Mo., on Friday Nov. 15.
2 PM - Roosevelt vs. Upper Iowa (Midwest Regional Crossover)
Roosevelt faces Upper Iowa at TRAC in the second day of Midwest Regional Crossover matchups.
4 PM - Men's Basketball vs. Parkside (HOME at Midwest Regional Crossover)
The UIS men's basketball team wraps up the weekend's action at home with a Midwest Regional Crossover game against Parkside. UIS fell 75-66 in their early meeting last season and trails the all-time series 4-13, with their last win over Parkside coming in a 78-70 victory in 2019. Parkside, coming off a 13-16 season, will face Upper Iowa in their season opener before taking on UIS.
