The Illinois Springfield men's golf team is set to compete at the Ken Partridge Invitational, hosted by Indianapolis at Purgatory Golf Club from Sunday through Tuesday.

The Prairie Stars will be one of 20 teams in the field, which includes several Great Lakes Valley Conference opponents such as Lewis, Quincy, Maryville, UIndy, Missouri S&T, Drury, Rockhurst and McKendree. The tournament provides a key tune-up ahead of the GLVC Championships. The field also features nationally ranked opponents, including No. 7 Grand Valley State, No. 18 Missouri S&T, and No. 22 Wayne State.

Last Time Out
UIS most recently competed at the Flyers Spring Invitational, finishing sixth out of 13 teams. Julien Babineau led the way with a tied-for-fifth finish after shooting rounds of 72 and 77. Francesco Abba tied for 25th (75, 80), and Tom Bumann tied for 35th with a 157 total (79, 78). Sacha Lamraski placed 44th (81, 80), and Jake Baldin rounded out the team lineup (78, 88). Competing as individuals, Brady Wilson tied with Bumann for 35th (79-78), and Leo Liu finished in 64th place (86, 82).
