In-State tuition for St. Louis & Quad Cities residents

Explore an exciting opportunity to be part of the University of Illinois Springfield community. Beginning Fall 2024, first-year students from specific areas - St. Louis or St. Charles county, Missouri, or Scott County, Iowa - can benefit from an attractive in-state tuition rate.

Here's how to join:

Step 1: Apply confidently and await your admission decision.

Step 2: Hail from the specified areas mentioned earlier.

No ACT/SAT Required

The UIS application for admission does NOT require ACT/SAT scores for first-year students.

First-year students admitted to UIS with an unweighted 3.0+ GPA are eligible for merit scholarships up to $8,000 – no test scores necessary. Check out your potential merit scholarship for all four years, and compare your annual tuition and fee costs after scholarships are applied.

No GMAT? No GRE? No problem! - No tests are required for application to UIS Graduate programs.
