2021 College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Honors Recipient
Outstanding Exercise Science Student- Physical Therapy Track: Kenady Clayburn
Kenady Clayburn has not only been an outstanding EXR student, but she’s also been an engaged EXR student throughout her time at UIS. She gained much practical experience as she worked as a student lead for campus recreation, while also working as a rehab aide at Athletico. In addition, she served as a YMCA camp counselor during the summers. That hard work enabled Kenady to receive employee of the month honors for both Campus Recreation and Student Affairs. Kenady also assisted with the creation of the student Exercise Science Organization and served a leadership role as Secretary too. During her free time she volunteers for Rhythm of Our Youth, an organization through her local hospital that gives free EKGs to high school students in the surrounding areas. After graduation, Kenady plans to attend graduate school and pursue her doctorate in Occupational Therapy.
