The Office of Electronic Media, located within the Center for State Policy and Leadership, offers cutting edge media presentations for the web, television, classrooms and beyond.
The Office of Electronic Media provides video production services for the Center, UIS, state government, public television, Illinois educators, and community non-profit agencies. OEM produces events ranging from sports and training seminars to public events and educational lectures.
The office produces educational, informational and public affairs programs on DVD, CD, video and online in support of the University’s academic and public affairs missions. Live event productions, webcasts, multi-media programs, and statewide radio/television public service campaigns are produced for the Center, UIS, state government, public television, Illinois educators, and community non-profit agencies. The Office of Electronic Media operates a full-time closed-circuit television channel on the UIS campus, providing coverage of academics, campus issues, student life, athletics, and other campus activities. The office maintains complete television and multi-media studios in the University’s Public Affairs Center and provides practical learning opportunities in media production for UIS students.
