Dr. Sara Lupita Olivares is the author of the poetry collections Migratory Sound, winner of the CantoMundo Poetry Prize, and Field Things. Her work has appeared in publications such as The New York Times, Black Warrior Review, Fugue, Image Journal, and elsewhere. She teaches various Creative Writing courses, specializing in Poetry and Environmental Writings.
