The College of Education at UIUC is holding the 2023 Graduate Student Conference on March 3, 2023. We are reaching out to invite the graduate students to share their work on the impact of Covid 19 on technology development, innovations, and implementation. As most of the schools turned to virtual learning during the covid-19 pandemic, we had to rely on technology for school and work. Students are welcome to share their work related to technology innovation and students’ learning or any other related work at the conference. Please find below the call for abstracts.
The Graduate Student Conference Committee is now accepting conference proposals. This year's event will be held under the theme "Global Solidarity for Education in the New Era.”
The conference is open to all graduate students who are interested in sharing their work, either with colleagues in person in Champaign or virtual and hybrid spaces. For students who wish to present, the deadline to submit your research abstract is Monday, January 9, 2023. For more details, please check the submission requirements. The Graduate Student Conference will be held Friday, March 3, 2023.
This year, the Graduate Student Conference will select four presentations to receive an award in recognition of the impact of the work toward fostering innovative changes in research and scholarship within education. Each presentation selected for an award will come with a $300.00 award. For awarded presentations with multiple graduate student authors, the student authors will divide the funds equally. Please contact gsc@education.illinois.edu if you have any questions.
The award committee will select four recipients in the following areas:
- Two awards for the category of Paper Presentation
- One award for the category of Poster Session
- One award for the category of Round Table Session
