Bio: Sherri serves as a Research Program Coordinator at the Center for Prevention Research and Development (CPRD) at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. In this role, Sherri serves as a project leader for the Substance Use Prevention Programs (SUPP) Block Grant; assists in the coordination of the development and implementation of an online integrated reporting system utilized by all SUPP grantees and contractors, as well conducting evaluations of community-based substance use prevention programs and adherence to best-practice standards. Sherri is a proud recipient of a 40 under 40 award in recognition of her advocacy and dedication to youth. Sherri and her husband have two wonderful children.
Relevant Professional Experience: Before her work at CPRD, she served as the Director of Prevention and Education services at a local not-for-profit organization.
Research Interests: The impact of social determinants of health on youth substance use and disparities and inequities in prevention programming.
