Congratulations on your eligibility to graduate! This is a quick reminder of some important deadlines that are quickly approaching. If you have not already done so, act now to ensure your participation in Commencement on May 13.  

Required Intent to Participate Form Due Monday, March 20 

Confirm your participation in Commencement by submitting an intent to participate form by 11:59 p.m. March 20. This step is required for all students who wish to walk. Late submissions will not be accepted. 

Student Commencement Speaker  The student commencement speaker is an important tradition at UIS. All graduating students are eligible to audition; representatives of the faculty and the student body will select the speaker. Apply by 11:59 p.m. March 20. Auditions will be March 24 via Zoom.

Purchasing Regalia 

Purchase your cap and gown online at the link provided at the end of the Intent to Participate form, or the link in your form submission email.
