Biennial Users —
University Property Accounting and Reporting (UPAR) is excited to announce a new feature in the Biennial Inventory (BI) application. The new Mass Update tool is now available to Biennial users with the role of Unit Contact and Unit Specialist.
Mass Update is a significant improvement for the application users as it simplifies record updates for multiple items. The new functionality provides Unit Contacts and Unit Specialists with a convenient tool to make the same update to multiple asset records during the physical inventory process. Mass Update allows the user to update one or more of 9 editable attributes of multiple asset records to the same new value.

Future FABWeb Implementation Plans
While this new functionality will only be in Biennial Inventory application for now, a similar Mass Update along with other significant improvements are planned in the new redesign of FABweb Updates to Existing Assets functionality, estimated for implementation in late 2023.
