Bio
Antonio Tucker is a career civil servant at the local and federal government level. Antonio served in the United States Army for 4 years after graduating high school. Antonio’s first duty station was Friedberg, Germany for 2 years, which included a 6-month deployment in Kosovo. Shortly after being honorably discharged, Antonio landed a job as a mail carrier with the Tinley Park Post Office. Antonio currently serves as a Police Sergeant, in the patrol division, for the Bolingbrook Police Department. In this role, Antonio provides leadership and direction for police officers in the completion of patrols, training, and crime-fighting programs. In addition, Antonio implements practices to improve awareness, increase safety, and minimize risk for civilians and officers alike. He has served as a Patrolman, a member of the Raid, Entry, and Containment Team (R.E.A.C.T), a School Resource Officer, and as a Detective. Antonio holds the distinction of receiving the Lewis University Senior Award in 2009, being named a Pillar of Valley View School District in 2017 and being inducted into the SALUTE Veterans National Honor Society in 2022. Antonio has two awesome children who are pursuing their higher education.
