Caleb Grover, Candidate for Secretary

My name is Caleb Grover, and I am declaring my intent to run in the upcoming SGA election to serve as secretary for the 2024-25 academic school year. I am currently an undergraduate student studying political science who has committed to return to UIS in the fall of 2024 as a graduate student pursuing a Master of Arts degree in the same field. As secretary, I will ensure that SGA provides transparency pertaining to the business discussed at SGA meetings by submitting the minutes, along with archiving SGA resolutions, in a timely manner. Should I have the privilege to be re-elected to SGA, I will serve as a liaison to the Student Activities Committee (SAC) to promote a collaborative accord between SAC and SGA. Additionally, I will openly welcome thought-provoking discussions with UIS students to ensure the voices of UIS students are being heard by SGA and the UIS Administration.
