Aimee Nguyen, Candidate for Public Affairs & Education Senator

I’m Aimee (My Thi Tra) Nguyen, currently am doing my Master’s in Public Administration. With an ambition of working in Public Affairs field, and experiences of coordinate several events with the Consulate General of the kingdom of the Netherlands in Vietnam as an NPO nonprofit employee, and educational experiences as an English Teaching Assistant. I am aiming to explore and develop my career path further. The position of becoming a Senator - Public Affairs and Education allows me opportunities to grow and contribute my knowledge into the position of the organization. I served as a volunteer at the YMCA, and Saint Patrick’s Day Parade Committee. I am looking forward to serving at the Student Government Association at UIS.
