Teya Broyles enjoys how much professors care about their students at the University of Illinois Springfield. “They want you to succeed,” she said. She chose UIS for the scholarship opportunities and the close-knit community. On campus, she is a member of the Captial Scholars Honors Program and the Green Fee Committee. She also works at the UIS Cox Children’s Center. Following graduation, she plans to earn a master's degree in environmental science.
