What was your overall UIS experience like?

It was a fun experience! I got to meet so many people and had a lot of great opportunities. I played on the soccer team but was also able to participate in Alternative Spring Break and a study abroad program in Italy.

Do you have any fond memories of your time at UIS you'd like to share?

I liked participating in Springfest with my friends and teammates! It was fun to get together each year with the entire campus and take part in the activities.

Why did you choose UIS?

I liked the size of the campus and the diversity of students. I was also offered both an academic and athletic scholarship.

What has your career path been like? How did you end up where you are?

My time playing soccer at UIS is what spurred me into working in college athletics. After UIS, I did an internship at a Division III school in Baltimore before I got a full time role at another Division II school in Texas. Both of these experiences led me to K-State where I manage the website and work on the social media team.
