Daniel Park values the student-to-professor ratio at the University of Illinois Springfield. Park serves as president of the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at UIS, treasurer of the UIS chapter of the American Red Cross and is an active member of the Pre-Health Society and the Research Society. “I chose UIS because not only is it close to home, but its services and resources align well with my educational path,” Park said. After graduation, Park plans to attend professional school or start a career in research.
