Dr. Bob Smith, full professor of public administration in the School of Public Management and Policy, recently traveled to China where he presented at three universities in four cities during a weeklong lecture tour in November 2024. The cities included Shanghai, Chengdu, Guangzhou and Shenzhen. Dr. Smith delivered lectures for faculty and students at Sichuan University, China Normal University and Shenzhen University. Dr. Smith was invited as part of an academic mission that included faculty from Clemson University and select staff from the Federal Inspector General (Department of the Interior). Dr. Smith spoke on the 2024 Presidential Campaign, Domestic Policy Implications and Impact on American Public Administration.
