Coming from a large high school, Grace Jenkins was drawn to the small class sizes and one-on-one attention from professors at the University of Illinois Springfield. On campus, she is a part of the Necessary Steps Mentoring Program, the parliamentarian for the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc. Alpha Phi Chapter at UIS, president of Voices and Praise and a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success. She previously served on the Student Activities Committee. Following graduation from the UIC College of Nursing Springfield Regional Campus, she plans to become a labor and delivery nurse and further her education to become a Certified Nurse Midwife.
