UIS Track & Field junior Madelyn Miller has been named a USTFCCCA All-Region honoree in the 5,000 meters for the 2025 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field season, as announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) on Tuesday.
Miller earned the recognition by finishing among the top five individuals in the Midwest Region in the event. She secured her spot with a school record time of 16:37.46 at the GVSU Big Meet on February 14, 2025.
The All-Region distinction is awarded to the top five individuals in each event from every region, along with each member of the top three relay teams. Miller is joined on the all-region team by a selection of student-athletes from Grand Valley State, Ashland, and Lewis.

Miller's performance continues to elevate the UIS track & field program on the national stage. She has been a key contributor throughout the season and will compete in the event at the national championship on Thursday evening.
