The UIS men's tennis team hosted Michigan Tech on Saturday afternoon, suffering a 6-1 defeat.

  • In doubles play, UIS dropped the first two matches 7-5 and 6-0 as Michigan Tech claimed the doubles point. However, Pablo Herrera and Jorge Roman managed to secure a 6-3 victory in No. 3 doubles, but it wasn't enough to change the outcome.
  • Viktor Karpati fought hard in No. 1 singles but was ultimately defeated 6-2, 4-6, 6-3 by Vitor Jordao.
  • Antonio Ayerbe Streubel was unable to gain momentum in No. 2 singles, falling 6-0, 6-1 to Adam Fenijro.
  • Pablo Herrera earned a victory in No. 3 singles, defeating Leon Sell 7-6, 6-3 in a competitive match.
  • Lin En Tan struggled in No. 4 singles, losing 6-1, 6-0 to Laurent Teysseire.
  • Lukas Pieringer fought hard in No. 5 singles but was defeated 6-4, 6-1 by Landon Coates.
  • Jorge Roman came up short in No. 6 singles, falling 6-2, 6-4 to Ian Pinnoo.
