UIS men's track and field raced a trio at the IC Hilltop Classic, hosted by Illinois College, on Friday night to close out the regular season. The Prairie Stars recorded two fifth-place finishes at the meet.

- Finn Loken finished 5th in the 800 meters in 1:59.89—his first 800 of the season. Loken is currently 18th on the GLVC performance list as of Saturday morning, and looks poised to earn a spot at the league's championship meet next weekend.
- Ayden Groves took 19th overall in the 800, starting with the pack in his heat before slipping behind to finish with a time of 2:04.00.
- Lucas Baronello ran the 3,000-meter race and finished 5th after an evenly split race. He moved into third late in the race but ultimately finished 5th in personal record time at 8:51.35, defeating multiple GLVC opponents in the field. His time converts to 8:45.24, which ranks him No. 27 on the GLVC performance list.
The GLVC Indoor Track & Field Championships are scheduled for March 1-2 in Indianapolis. UIS will declare entries this upcoming week based on the league's performance list.
