UIS held an inaugural Dr. Ford Day in celebration and commemoration of Dr. Clarice Ford, who passed away in April. Students and staff held a candlelight vigil outside the Student Union where students shared stories about how Dr. Ford had an impact on their lives and talked about her lasting legacy.
