UIS celebrated Hispanic/LatinX Heritage from Sept. 15 through Oct. 15 despite new challenges. There was a concern that engagement in the month would be lower than usual, but the opposite turned out to be true: The heritage month drew a wider range of students and alumni, both on and off campus, who had a variety of ways to take part.
