Dee Inniss works as a resident assistant for UIS Residence Life in Larkspur Court, is an
InQUEERY Peer Educator, student ambassador for Gender Sexuality Student Services, a UIS
Sports Medicine Athletic Training intern, Women’s Center event assistant and a Capital
Scholars Honors Program student. Inniss chose the University of Illinois Springfield for the,
“opportunities to get involved and the resources for students on campus,” she said. When asked
what she enjoys most about campus she said, “(UIS) is small enough for you to be known by
your professors, peers, and other professionals, but big enough to offer professional and personal
success.” Following graduation, she plans to attend graduate school for athletic training.
