Divya Shet calls the University of Illinois Springfield “an amazing place for international students.” She is heavily involved on campus as a graduate student assistant at the Center for Online Learning, Research and Service. She previously worked as an International Students Ambassador for the Office of International Student Services. In that role, she helped incoming international students adjust to the UIS campus and planned and coordinated events. She has also worked a student lead at the Student Union and was chairperson of the Student Organization and Funding Association. Following graduation, she plans to pursue her doctorate and use the skills she learned during her master’s program to work full-time.
