Chancellor's Awards: The nomination period for the staff awards will open Monday, Feb. 3 and close Friday, Feb. 14.

A form will be sent out to allow nominations for the CARE & CAPE awards, as well as four additional staff awards.

• Orion Award (for impact on students)
• Polaris Award (for staff leadership)
• Nova Award (for new employees)
• Sirius Award (for shining attitude and performance)

The nomination announcement and links will run in campus announcements and on Orbit beginning on February 3rd. Also look for emails from the Civil Service Advisory Council, csac@uis.edu, or the Academic Professional Advisory Council, apac@uis.edu, for more information as we near the opening date for nominations.
