Ignat Striletskyi values the diverse, welcoming community at the University of Illinois Springfield and the opportunity to balance education, career and athletics. Striletskyi is a member of the UIS Mock Trial team, Model United Nations and Model Illinois Government. He also serves on the Dean of Students Advisory Board and plays on the men’s soccer team. He chose UIS for its strong political science program and the abundance of political internship opportunities. After graduation, Striletskyi plans to attend law school and eventually return to Ukraine to apply his knowledge in political science and law.
