Janice Akpobaro, an MPH student at UIS and vice-chair of the Illinois Public Health Association's Student Section, shared her remarkable impact in our MPH program and the broader world of public health. She talked about her research on "Food as Medicine" presented at the 2023 Illinois Public Health Association Conference. Janice is applying the public health leadership, research, and scientific communication skills she gained at the UIS Master of Public Health program to solve real-world problems.
