The UIS men's golf team put forth a solid performance at the Midwest Regional Preview in St. Joseph, Mo., this week, finishing with a total score of 900 to place 11th among 17 competing teams.
Tournament Summary
- Julien Babineau led the team, tying for 19th with a total of 220 after rounds of 75, 70, and 75
- Daniel Edwards followed, tying for 47th with scores of 80, 72, and 75 across three rounds
- Sacha Lamraski finished in a tie for 56th with a total score of 229, while Francesco Abba placed 60th with a score of 230
- Jake Baldin rounded out the UIS team in 79th place with a total of 234
- Ferris State claimed the top spot with a score of 857, followed closely by Missouri-St. Louis at 864 and Missouri S&T at 869. UIS was just nine strokes shy of the top ten
- Isaac To of Missouri S&T was the individual champion
