Ko’u Anela Hopkins loves the willingness to lend a helping hand and how friendships and support systems are created at the University of Illinois Springfield. Hopkins is an international student ambassador for International Student Services and a member of the Rotaract Club. She chose UIS to be part of a growing environment of young leaders and to build her confidence to make a difference in the world. After graduation, she will pursue a master’s degree in global studies.
