Research Interests: Archeology and the Stone Age

Dr. Fisher encourages her students to answer the questions that interest them through open ended assignments and hands-on learning. She often takes her students to Germany where she’s unearthing clues about Stone Age farmers. Fisher also serves as chair of the University of Illinois Springfield Campus Senate, which sets educational policy for the entire campus. She holds a Ph.D. in Anthropology from the University of Michigan.
