Melissa Jackson loves the engaging community and campus events at the University of Illinois Springfield. Jackson is president of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., vice president of the Black Student Union and works at the Information Technology Services help desk. She chose UIS for its proximity to home, financial aid opportunities and beautiful campus. After graduation, she plans to work as an information security analyst for a large company.
