Homecoming officially kicks off today, and I couldn’t be more excited to welcome you to this year’s celebration! Our theme for 2024 is Legacy Ignited, and we have a full schedule of events and theme days to engage and unite our entire campus community. From today through the rest of the week, there will be countless ways for students, faculty, staff and alumni to come together and celebrate everything that makes UIS special.

- Monday: Cozy Up to Your Legacy (PJ Day)
- Tuesday: Legacy in Action (Jersey Day)
- Wednesday: Ignite Awareness (Wear Gold Day)
- Thursday: Legacy of Leadership (Rep Your Org/Career Day)
- Friday: Ignite the Spirit (School Spirit Day)

Opportunities to Get Involved:
There are several ways you can participate and help make Homecoming an unforgettable experience:
- Window Painting at the Student Union: Join us in decorating the windows on Tuesday and Wednesday to show off your Prairie Star pride!
- Post on Social Media: Show your spirit by posting photos in your themed attire or of Homecoming events using #UISHOCO.
- Attend Events: From athletic games to special events, we’d love to see you there!
