Bio: Muqaddam Oyetunji Ali was born on the 17th of April 1991 in Lagos State, Nigeria. He started his early education at Glory of God Nursery and Primary School. Then he continued at Muslim Model Nursery and Primary, Kisi, Oyo state. He continued his secondary education at Muslim Academy Kisi (MUSACK) until 2008. In 2012, he embarked on a journey to Malaysia to pursue a Bachelor of Accounting at Sultan Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah International Islamic University, Kedah, where he graduated with a first-class degree in accounting and was awarded the best graduating student in 2016. After completing his study in 2016, he continued at the Master's level in Accounting at University Malaysia Perlis, Perlis.

Relevant experience: Muqaddam worked as a research assistant to senior lecturers at the University Malaysia Perlis. He was also a visiting lecturer at the Asian Institute of Cambodia in 2019 and 2020. Between March 2020 till February 2021, he served as a National Youth Service Corps at Kwara state college of education.

Research interest: Auditing, Financial Reporting, Managerial accounting, Bond/Sukuk, Accounting information system, and Taxation.
