Bio: Nicole Albertson is Human Resource Director for the City of Bloomington, and has over 25 years of experience in Strategic Human Resource Leadership across both public and private sectors, including government, healthcare, banking, and education industries in union and non-union environments. Nicole earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/HR Management from Illinois State University, as well as her Master’s in Business Administration. She was an adjunct faculty member at Lincoln College, Normal, IL in the Business department and taught courses in Human Resource Management, Organizational Behavior/Theory, and Organizational Leadership. She holds her Senior Professional of Human Resource (SPHR) certification, as well as her Society for Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional certification (SHRM-SCP). She loves spending time with family and travelling.
