The University of Illinois Springfield’s Center for State Policy and Leadership on Tuesday hosted a Constitution Day panel discussion focusing on issues related to the 2024 election, such as the Electoral College, voter registration and the role of the media.
Public Affairs Reporting program director Jason Piscia provided tips on how to be a responsible news consumer, including by making sure information you're sharing on social media is factual, being aware of content that is biased, and not putting too much emphasis on news stories about a single political poll.
