Rondell Wetzel cherishes his college experiences, embracing the community and diverse offerings at the University of Illinois Springfield. He is a member of Necessary Steps, Afro Beats Dance Club, the Black Male College Society and the Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity. Wetzel is a freshman and is pursuing a degree in computer science with a minor in finance. He chose UIS for its scholarship options and the opportunity to forge his own path away from home. Following graduation, he hopes to either enter the workforce or pursue further education.
