UIS is very proud to have 330 current faculty, staff and students who have served or are currently serving our country in the United States military. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE!
Meet Alumnus Brace Clement

Following two tours of duty in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom, he graduated from UIS with a degree in Political Studies. Following his military career, he worked at Starbucks Coffee Company in Seattle, WA, as a Senior Financial Analyst and Staffing Program Manager. Prior to Starbucks, he served as the Director of the Veterans Assistance Commission in Chicago. Clement went on to earn an MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and has embraced his most important role yet as a stay-at-home father to his one-year-old son Broyce.
Meet Alumnus A.J. Prebil
Richard A.J.
