The University of Illinois Springfield Athletics Department has announced HomeTown Ticketing as its new official ticketing partner beginning in 2024-25. Tickets are set to go on sale in the coming weeks for upcoming soccer and volleyball home competitions.

"HomeTown Ticketing is well known for partnering with athletics programs throughout the country, providing opportunities for fans to easily purchase tickets to collegiate athletics events," said Mike Hermann, director of athletics. "We are pleased to accommodate today's sports consumer by offering both digital tickets, as well as traditional walk-up ticket sales."

HomeTown will allow Prairie Stars fans to purchase tickets digitally and scan them via mobile device at the gate on game day. Tickets for home events can be purchased on the UIS Athletics Box Office webpage or on the HomeTown Fan App (available for iOS and Android devices). Fans can favorite University of Illinois Springfield on the app for a streamlined experience.

UIS fans will be able to purchase single-game tickets for soccer games beginning on August 5, and volleyball matches beginning on August 27. UIS will also use the platform to sell tickets for home basketball games starting in October. 

Single-game general admission tickets for soccer and volleyball will be sold for $8 per ticket. Attendance remains free for youth ages twelve and under, UIS students with a valid Icard, and UIS faculty and staff.
